The axial pipe scanner is ideal for weld inspection and corrosion mapping on pipes ranging from 6 in. to 14 in. in diameter. The 4 x 4 tractor is fitted with suspension is capable of traversing weld crowns, speeding the inspection of long runs of welded pipe. The scanner can be driven to access sections and perform 100% scan coverage, then driven back to a convenient demount point.
